No longer suited for a normal life

January 28th, 2010 by admin

You cannot meet the Creator of the universe and remain the same. If the God who is all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-present comes to dwell within your soul, you would expect at least some minor disruption. I think there’s a problem when people talk about meeting God or knowing God and yet remain unchanged by God. When the Creator chooses to dwell within His creation, there is transformation. If Jesus has come to dwell within you, you are no longer suited for a normal life.

  1. Patrick says:

Isn’t “normal” life so tremendously overrated? Since we’ve left the “normal” American Christian life behind, we have such clarity as to how ineffective and void of real hope and transformation our worldly normal was. It was downright boorish and uninspiring. It didn’t affect others because it wasn’t even affecting us.

I guess each Christian needs to ask himself/herself one question – “Is my normal the Pharisee-type normal?” or “Is my normal the Christ-like normal?” Our answer will determine if there will be transformation, or not, in our lives.

  2. Danilo says:

  3. Danilo says:

The Holy Spirit makes us change completely, and have an encounter with the Lord God and be born again, and leave behind a life of illness, losses, suffering and sin, and live the fullness of Christ in us, the true believer not live in losses, never says, “I think”, but “I’m sure

  4. Denny says:

    I concur.

And since I do concur, then I, personally, KNOW FOR SURE that will be in gigantic, terrible, NEVER ENDING trouble if I do not continue to strive to become more and more responsive to the Holy Spirit…
