Today was the grand opening of The Message Church.

Since the last Sunday in February, we’ve been working steadily towards this date. It often seemed like we were plodding; without the proverbial two pennies to rub together, we set off on a grand adventure with absolutely no resources available to us. Today, we were able to celebrate our coming out party… we are officially on the radar as a church in Leland!

What a day it was!

Visitors, new tees for our volunteers, cake (not just one, but two!), excitement and a jewish prayer shawl… I don’t think I could have planned a better party had I tried to. I am so proud of our team! They have gone over and above the call of duty and pulled together a fabulous facility to use but, even better, have fearlessly stepped into a grand adventure called Kingdom living and are already going where they never imagined they could or would.
