In Facebook, every time someone does anything –adds a friend, changes their profile picture, blows their nose, etc.– you are informed that this activity happened. How do I make it stop?
I have far more of that coming in than actual status updates. I often feel like a mind reader out in public… I’m hearing everyone’s inane thoughts about nothing and it’s driving me crazy!
Hey man if you are getting an email every time this happens, you should be able to go to your account settings and turn them off. Go to notifications and just uncheck what you don’t want to receive. Hope this helps!
I’m not getting an email; it just shows up in my feed. There are so many of them that it will take up as much as 2 screens with nothing but someone accepting a friend request, changing their profile picture, etc.
THAT drives me crazy!
But, then again, I’m getting to be an ol’ coot…
